Presentation ...In the furthest point of the Salento Peninsula (in Apulia, in the south of Italy) a walk under the fresh shadows of the trees will take you to an old suggestive building: Giardino degli Angeli. Il belonged to the last Prince of Presicce..

Then the building became a tobacco manufactory.

Now it has been restored but it holds its ancient taste: here you can image to hear countrymen singing and  to see women in their black long traditional skirts dancing the "pizzica".

The Giardino degli Angeli is surrounded by olive trees;it stands  ten minutes from the beautiful beaches than skirt the jonian sea and from the  Santa Maria di Leuca. It  is near Presicce (1 minute only) "città degli Ipogei" (ipogean oil-press), where you can sightsee: Churches, Palazzo Ducale, Casa Turrita, Corte Soronzi, Piazzetta Padreterno, Palazzi and in particular the  Santa Maria degli Angeli church that is located next to the Giardino degli Angeli
